Hi dsb,
I have taken up contact with DPE but they seem a little slow in replying.
Have you got any ifnos/contacts with regard to weights with tyres of your wheels- you guessed slightly heavier than stock 18"?
Also any infos about the three piece signature series?
If they really are around 20-22lbs and significantly cheaper than HRE I might/would like to be swayed!

Just a short update:

HRE C21 best quote from German supplier is still very expensive.
Plus points: looks and weight

Carlsson 2/16 BE may be a candidate as good compromise betwen price and weight with decent looks. Waiting on best offer from Carlsson.

DPE have replied and they have a new five spoke three piece coming out weight 19 X 8.5/19 X 10 around 10 and 11kgs.
The price is okayish and if I can get German TÜV then this would be my favourite in either black or brushed aluminium.

Hi,
In the meantime I have changed my car from the 2005 silver 55 to a 2007 obsidian black 55, (which will shortly be converted again by Carlsson).
As far as wheels go it seems that despite much talking with and data from DPE(Manu Gill very helpful) it will be very difficult to get USA alloys TÜV authorised in Germany for my car.
If this doesn´t work out which would be a real shame then I come back to your suggestions from the start-Supperleggera III- or somehow Black Series if used ones become available.
When this is eventually sorted out -may take a while though(! ) I will at last post a few pics.

Good luck, I would personally go for the O.Z's as they are easier to obtain.
