Default SLK350 OEM Windscreen

I am looking to purchase a OEM plexiglass MB windscreen for my 2005 Launch Edition. I have found a German Dealer on EBay that sells them for $380.00 plus about $35.00 shipping. Anyone aware of any better or similar deals in the states. I am thinking this is as good as it gets unless I can find a used one.

Thanks in advance

I got a windscreen from that source on EBay. It arrived quick and in perfect shape. If you want to retain the MB look, get the OEM windscreen.

Default Bought It

Bought an OEM MB Winscreen on EBay from this link on the 14TH.
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=130090140934

Will let you know when it arrives how it went. Paid $425 including shipping after Euro conversion to US dollars.

Thanks Owl for the PM tip, but it did not pan out. I appreciate the effort!

I know that this was wrong and I truly feel guilty about it. I wore some jogging shorts and a cute little pink v-neck tank top into the dealership and got one for $348.77 plus tax. According to the guy at the counter, this was actual dealer cost plus 10%, the deepest discount he could give.

If I would have done it I would have had my eyes on the dealer only and would have kept my rear at the wall! Nobody knows...

tisk tisk 280lady.

Is it really a big difference the windscreen? If there isnt anything coming from the sky, and at least 45 degrees F, I have the top down. And I dont use my mesh, i never have even used it.

I think there's a big difference. I used the mesh and then the plexi windscreen and the churn inside the cabin was noticeably reduced with the plexi.

Default It is Here!

MB OEM Windscreen just arrived from Germany and it is perfect! Fast shipping as it only took 5 days! One thing...UPS tacked on a 22.00 Brokerage fee I had to pay and Ebay confirmed it was not the Sellers fault. All in all, $425 plus $22 is way better than $690...

great, the plexi glass is a great extra. careful cleaning it, only use a microfibre cloth as the plastic could score easily!

Default Plexus Windscreen Cleaner

I will be using Plexus to clean and protect it. I used it on my Porshe Boxster's rear window and windshield and it acually puts a clear protective coating on it that will protect it from scratches and marks fron driving with the top down.

Plexus® was developed for use in the aviation industry - specifically, for cleaning and protecting aircraft windshields and painted surfaces. As Plexus became more and more popular, people quickly discovered it could be used on a limitless variety of plastic surfaces. Since then, Plexus has continued to grow in popularity, and today it is recognized as the most effective plastic cleaner, protectant and polisher on the market.

This stuff is awesome! Read about it here: http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/frames.html

I bought an OEM windscreen from that same seller on ebay too (his username is mb-schaefer). Arrived within a week and is perfect. Paid $415 and no brokerage fee. Very happy with it.
