Default Perfect suitcases for your SLK?

Roadsterbags:

http://lotus.freudhoefer.de/roadsterconcept/index.html

I´m using them. They are okay for a 3 days trip with my wife. When I´m driving alone the capacity is good for 10 months.

The smaller bag doesn't look like it would fit right. Is anyone here using them for the R170? I know this is the R171 area, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Kevin, that small bag would fit perfectly in the spare tire well. It looks like it would also fit on top of the other bags at the front (car rear) of the trunk.

I've got some of those. They sell on eBay as well as from their website, and I paid about 100 Euros for mine.

I have seen these exact bags new on EBay for 1/3 less. Search on "r171 luggage" then look at completed auctions to get an idea what they sell for. I intend to get a set before spring.

Hi all. I'm picking up my SLK from Bremen in August so want to get bags nice and early.

Where in the UK can you get the Roadsterbag? I'm on the website but cannot for the life of me work out where to order for the UK. Might be as it's all in German

Thanks
Gary

They sell them on eBay (or at least they used to, that's where I got mine).

Someone a while ago figured out exactly what size bags fit. Might have been here or Benzworld. You might want to search for that. Although the RoadsterBags fit well (from what I remember reading), they are kind of expensive for what they are. I bought some standard bags and they fit quite well. Both "overhead airplane" style bags fit in and there is some space in between them where a computer bag can fit. And on top of them, we threw coats and a map, the video camera bag and some other stuff we wanted to get without opening up clothing bags.

So, bottom line, you may want to consider other more easily obtained bags. Just search for those sizes...

It was actualy mbworld, do a search for euro delivery and you'll find the post. You can get similar ones for much cheaper.
