UK Mod Shops

Hi

Ive had my 97 SLK for a few months now and have been looking for mods, but most are in the US are there any UK mod shops that people know of or will I need to import...
Im trying to find a body kit for it in the UK, just trying to find out prices at the moment.

Hi Bignose (usually, when I say that, people TRY to beat me up)Welcome from the NE of England - for small stuff, you're better buying from the States - half price, and still gets here in 2-3 days, for body kit, cheaper buying from Germany, but, carefully check out shipping details..

Try Googling the following - Vaeth, Piecha, Wimmer, MKB, Alustar - that should keep you going for a while.

rieger do a kit for your slk, as do brabus etc.
your best bet is one fo te local modified car shops, im sure they have contacts.

I have the Rieger kit, and I like it. The only negative issue with it is that it's a bit low in the front. Underground parking, ferries etc can be a problem...
It turns heads over here...
