Here's a couple of laps at a recently opened track in Hitchcock, Texas. It's only 1.3 miles with a planned expansion to 2.4 miles. This is the best surface I've ever run on. Very smooth but decent grip. One of the local BMW dealers set up this track day.

No official timing on the other cars but a lot of stopwatches. The next best I know of was a Viiper with a 1:11. There were some very high end cars there including a SL65 but the level of experience was very low. Only about 4-5 other drivers had ever been on a track before. The Viper was one of them.
