| Have you noticed how MB is starting to use white as the predominant colour in their new car advertising - 'C' class, and now SLK - what's the matter with green ![]()

| I don't think they realize it...but...they must have hit something while shooting....cause there is a piece of the front spoiler missing..how embarrassing..

I like green on the slk, Two days ago I saw a green one on the way back and it looked stunning with the beige interior. Green is not a common colour on the SLK over here I tell you. It's quiet rare as since they have released the slk in late 2004 there must have been on 2-3 Green SLK's here in Kuwait.

| Pretty car in the video. Check it out on YouTube, full screen. Also, with narration. It will take some getting use to. It looks better in the video than in photos. One hopes that it looks even better in person. That having been said, I REALLY do like my roadster. | Ups, green is the color of british cars... or not? Maybe I like Jaguar and Aston too much, ha ha ha I'm joking, man I agree about white cars and Mercedes new wave. It is strange, cause white is the taxi colors in Spain, so is difficult to me to afford that white=sports car. |

Green is a nice colour but after owning a Emerald Green ML for 7 years I definatley got fedup of the darker green shades such as Forest Green metallic.

| White is the new black, if you haven't notice, there's a lot white benzes, porsches, and bimmers lately. I might consider white for my next purchase.

| Imagine that Porsche 911 turbo with metallic white paint, it would definatley look gorgeous and more exclusive than the regular "carrera white".

| I'm not a fan. I'd agree with a comment on yourtube, It looks like it's had its two front teeth out.

| The way I see it, the British have their Racing Green, so sporty-looking cars look okay to them. Personally, I think metallic green looks better on cars that are more luxurious than sporty, think E-Class and S-Class. For sports cars, and I'm sure I am speaking for most Americans and Canadians, white, black, red and blue - all non-metallic - and some metallic blues - depending on the shade - seem sportier. And I am sure it is hard to deny that a white vehicle with deep-tinted windows look just about as ***y as it gets. |

| I'm really not feeling the new lower front bumper design - the more I see it, the more it just doesn't look quite right somehow.

| It's starting to grow on me. I don't think it's as hideous as I used to. Maybe the sound of a high revving 305hp engine to replace the 268 in the current 350 has something to do with that though. |

| Since this is my first post I'd like to say I'm impressed with this forum so far. I'm currently residing in Germany and was to move back to the states this past summer. Since I was leaving I sold my Euro Spec 911. Well things happened an we're lucky enough to stick around and enjoy Europe for a few more years (Europe Rocks!). Anyway I've just ordered the new 2009 SLK 55 AMG. I've read mixed reviews on the Air Scarf. I've heard it's pretty useless when driving above 30MPH. Is this true? I can't wait for April to get hear and pick up my new toy. |
