For our 8/18/07 Northern California SLK Enthusiasts meet & drive, we had another good turnout. With the last two joining at lunch, I counted at least 21 SLKs participating, 11 of which made it all the way to the coal mines!

We met in Livermore, drove the very interesting Morgan Territory road, had a great lunch at Ed's Mudville Grille in Clayton, and went on to visit the Black Diamond Mines in Antioch.

The challenge with this drive was to capture the roads since I was the front car. The road of this route was very windy and most of it was small one lane road where I could not get any pictures during the drive....

Next month the meet is Woodside and out to the coast, but October is Apple Hill up by Placerville...

Very nice as usual. And thanks. I always enjoy your trips and they have encouraged us to go on more this summer. No group though...
