| That looked like a blast Tom! Couldn't tell, were you in the 32 or the Crossfire? Also...and more importantly...how did you manage to pretty much have the whole thing to yourself...did you play hooky from work? Hmmmmm? On a side observation...looks like your mount got a little slanted in all that(some) tire squeeling...

| Just a quick observation. I thought that road was one way, judging by the lack of opposing traffic, until about 4 minutes when I saw the bikes approaching. It may be the camera angle, but theres some seemingly some blind bends on that road and you are using the full road. If you'd have met the bikes having similar fun at another point, I feel they'd have been cactus and you'd a been in a whole lot of trouble. Around about a minute from the end in video one for instance. Like I said, maybe just the camera angle. Having said, I love the looks of the road and would love to drive it. |

| Elwood, your correct you have to be alert and cautious on the ridge. Most of the time you have good vision around the corners but a few you have to slow way down. The bicyclist think they are indestructible. A few others on this forum leave me in the dust along the ridge, a.k.a. the 55's, and one 350 in particular. Kevin, you screwed up buddy, you had to go take the time to get ready to move to Germany. What's more important, ship your cars out of Long Beach or playing with other SLK's on the ridge. As to my Andy Warhol photography and other equipment... figure it out. ![]()
