| I use a minidv cam with a line in and a helmet cam. i prefer the helmet cam as you look where stuff is happening. although the lense on camcorders is normally much better than the helmet camera. my camera is a jvc gr-dvp 9/7. i see them on ebay alot for $200 and think about buying another. As mine has been crashed on the bike a few times, raced on the car and in my scuba case for many a diving adventure and it's still going. and for internet the quality is well above whats required. once i get a new HQ i'll look into different filters for the helmet camera, i've read they make a big difference in the sun. helmet camera was about $200 for all the works.

| well apart from in the tight corners. where the fat slk quickly melted the tyres and nose is looking for any oppertunity to fade while your fetling the power. that was early in my TWS driving. the last time i went there on wider PS2's was a blast. sadly big drinking nights prior to the driving days meant my ambition to set-up the camera wasn't there. then early next day but still makes a great weekend.Actually I was generally hung over for my trackdays, I bet i'd be a much better driver with a good nights sleep. hehe

| Can i just say watching this "Dam I miss track days" Honestly it's so cheap in the US at the moment to do this stuff. people really need to get out there and do it. Once the numbers start climbing the prices for the tracks will shoot up! In the UK for instance we have a load of track in comparison per mile. and i used to pay 240 pound(430$ roughly) for 1 track day on the bike. here I used to pay 120pounds(240$) for two track days which included in the low groups 1 on 1 instruction. Don't think your car will be messed, i'm sure statistically it's in far more danger parked in the carpark or the street. Ask DSB, F111F, Dan, Tungser, fishtail.. and many more on this site i canny think of what your missing.. ok there goes my rant to better mankind

My car has already got dinged (and park away from everyone, but there is always that immature moron who never grew up who wants to ding your car), and can't tell you the number of soccer moms who just pull right into my lane. The track was much safer. Thanks for the video tip. Hitting MSR @ Cresson for the 1.7 mile track (thoroughly enjoyed the 1.3 mile track) and hitting TWS in June.

| [qoute] Thanks for the video tip. Hitting MSR @ Cresson for the 1.7 mile track (thoroughly enjoyed the 1.3 mile track) and hitting TWS in June.[/quote] they breaking the tracks up now? I've only done the upper one alone and the full circuit not done the other newer section on it's own. I actually was there the first weekend of the new track and it rained so hard we just did the old section as the mud poored across the new section. the old track is so slippy in the rain.

The 1.3 is technical with right to left blind hill. A lot of the heavy cars will spin off that track due to the number of curves and elevation changes. It is fun to watch the "track only" cars running on the 1.7. A Toyota Celica TRD was whipping up on a bunch of track Corvettes and Porsches. It was fun to watch and see what vehicles show up, that is half the fun.
