| This morning, Eddy (etyu) and myself took a stroll up the mountain to the ridge. The weather was lousy so we came back down. It's amusing how many bicyclists try to get in your way. Going up the hill

| Many twist and turns, looks like an extremely fun drive except for the cyclist. That's a pretty good quality video, thanks for sharing.

| Video turned out GREAT Tom. Stable too with no shaking. Camera mount using long c-clamps to hold unto the rear bulkhead and right angle bracket works very well. It definitely was not a top down day for driving with lots of moisture in the air and getting more foggy and wet towards the top. It was still worth the drive. Thanks again Tom, I mean, McGyver. They should make the road one way or unidirectional only.

| No worries, no apologies needed, April 21 is not far away. Check out the photos on page 2 of this thread (Ford-PAG-Mazda): http://www.slkworld.com/mb-events/23...21-2007-a.html

| Can you take a picture of that video mount? Seems to have worked very well.

| dsb, here's a photo of the mounts I came up with. The woodworking bar clamp with a corner bracket attached to it is for a Crossfire SRT6 coupe and the small white, gray and black thing is the R170 cup holder mount. The SRT6 has a 10 inch wide rear bulkhead behind the seats and the bar clamp attached to it. Last edited by Tslick; 06-10-2008 at 07:13 PM. |

I like your cupholder mount. I'm going to give it a try sometime in the near future. I think a mount can be made that would attach to the R171 roll bars, kinda like the windscreen. The only problem would be it's view. I think the rearview mirror would get in the way.

| There simple to make, looks crude but do the job. On the R171, the cup holder pop's out at an angle so you would need to add a bend to bring it back vertical. It should be easy to cut an angle in the tube then glue it back to gether and reinforce it with tape. |

| Great videos Tom! I'm just now getting around to seeing some of them since I'm at home (can't view them at work) and the wife went to bed early with a sinus headache. So its just me, Captain Morgan's Private Stock and the computer. Eddy, I have to say it looked like Tom was a bit more aggressive coming down than you were... . The rearview was great!!I've bought the parts for the mount, I just need to assemble it now. Somewhere b/w the honey dos.

| Used a proxy, http://tools.rosinstrument.com/proxy/ on the botton right hand corner, type in slkworld.com in the text box and click start surfing. My company monitors what website I visit, for the most part, they don't care unless it's guns, politics, porn, etc, but I've been in those firewalls, and when I used a proxy, it looks like I'm just checking out news. I do nearly all my surfing at work. Guys who smoke (no offense to smokers) take long extended smoke breaks every hours. Slkworld is my smoke break.

| My first will be my drive home after exiting the autobahn. Its not Glendora, but it is fun at midnight when no one else is around. I'll get some high speed of the autobahn too. Quote:
