I dont think so, we have got one and It always spoils and still has a plastiky interior, really now willing to pay that much for a Autobiography model that costs twice the price of the Regular HSE model. Atleast the G55 comes with Designo Interior Standard from the factory.

Hey Mo, slightly disagree - when the RR works, (and does not break down (must be the Ford bit)), it's a helluva vehicle, but THE BEST off roader is a SIII SWB (on Leaf springs ???) - the one that is used to pull all the posh SUV's (and 4x4's) out of the clarts on road tests.

Might be, but the Hummer H1 is the strongest; A friend just purchased an ex-military Hummer H1 with a 454 engine.

doesn't the military use Humvees (HMMV)? Also, the H1 is too large for most offroad courses other than the desert, and is more likely get high centered (not solid axle like the Gwagon).

Or The Hum Vee. The Original.

FYI Gone in 60 Seconds is one of my favorite movies, and im amazed that, that truck didnt roll, because if the front wheel was up, you know that the back was to.

Have to wait 'til I get home to watch the video.

As for the H1...if I never ride in another one, it will be too soon...Kevlar or not.

I thought the G55 was going to hit the car that was entering the round about. I agree with no one should practise drifting in the public.

Yeah, they look cool and all until you have to spend the day in 'em with 20 or so lbs and a helmet strapped to you.

My family had An 99 H1, for about a month, it was horrible. We got it for towing. it couldnt Tow anything, and it was very uncomfortable. The way the seating is set up there is no comforts, about 3 feet to the person next to you, and no legspace. All the interior is takin up by huge transfer case/tranny that is raised. Got rid of it quickly and got a Ford Dualie 7.2L Turbo Diesal, crew cab fully tricked, wayyyy better.
