that would be the brabus slk65 amg. 1000lb/ft of torque. apparantly had to reel it in as tyres just spun and traction control just **** itself. what a beaut car, but apparantly handles poorly.

Thank you for sharing, I have really enjoyed viewing the video, Its truly a Menace of an SL, Ive driven the SL600 V12 bi-turbo and it was a very pleasent experience. I do agree with Jeremy that the SL doesnt handle well.

yeah, I've seen that vid awhile ago, it doesn't handle well, look at the lap time, it did poorly, no traction and couldn't put all that power down.

They have really over-cooked it with that one just way too much power for the chassis if it was AWD then it would be fine but that sorta power in a RWD car with only slight adjustments made to the ESP and tires that are not quite as big as football fields it was bound to happen.

But then thats not what the Brabus is about.

that car is braggin rights. O and they dumbed it down to 800 lbs of torque, because with 1000, they could even get the car moving. Traction either stopped it, or the wheels just spun.

Again, that is just to say i have a xxxxx amount horsepower car.
To get that kind of car that can actually drive, get a skyline gtr, you can go up to 1000bhp, with all wheel drive...

speaking of which, anyone considering getting the new one, (FINALLY COMING TO AMERICA! I would if i had the money, suppose to be like 70 - 85 us $

serious waiting list for the new GTR already baron in Ireland. 2 years they say now. looks amazing and will be priced circa £60k.
The old R34 GTR's are still getting £30K plus, and are an amazing car but the interiors are just so tacky and plastic for the price. A good R33 GTST does the job for under £10k.
still wouldn't swap my slk for one tho.
