| What the heck was that? Also, I guess there's no rules on that track? All different levels of drivers, speeds, cars etc. That's exactly the type of track event I AVOID. Horrible.

| It could be an open track day and not a class. My brother goes to alot of open track days and say open track days should only be for people who has taken at least a few performance driving classes. Some of them are all over the track and some with nicer cars refused to let him pass. My first track day with the SLK will be on March 18th, let's hope it doesn't snow that day. And thank you dsb for introducing NASA to me. BMW CCA will not allow me to take the SLK on the track w/o a roll cage.

| Glad to hear you're attending a trak event. I think you'll really like the way NASA organizes the event. You'll see it's much better run than the video posted here. At least with NASA you have various classes sorted by experience of drivers, regardless of their vehicle. It makes for a better program. That way you don't see as much of a disparity in speed/talent making it safer for everyone. The video above shows passing everywhere, cars going 3-4 wide, just overall reckless IMO. Make sure you post a thread about your track experience.

| Have you even driven on the 101 in CA? Idiots passing on the dark side of the moon (my term for passing on someone's right), slugs in the #1 lane. Posers. I just don't understand it. Who would go to a track like that so many clueless people? |
