Changing the time on the clock?

I was quite unpleasantly surprised when I got into my motor today, only to find that the time had'nt corrected itself overnight(end of BST).

When I had my 171, that car used to do it automatically!

Does anyone know how to adjust the time? Thanks in advance.

Hmm, you have COMAND, right? I suspect it's one of the setting there like it was on the R171?

On the R171, the parameter to change to DST was done via the 'system' settings on the COMAND unit.

If this was selected, it would change automatically.

If you wanted to change the time (for example if you were driving through Europe), you would still do it via 'system' on the COMAND unit. This would change both the digital time on the HU, plus the analogue time on the 'clock'.

I'd imagine the R172 would have a similar system.

Mine was set not to update automatically too.

To change - just set the Time Zone for GB, you get two options under GB auto change and non auto change.

Through COMAND:- SYS > Time > Time Zone > GB > auto*

*it doesn't say auto - it says something like 'winter time saving auto', can't remember off the top of my head.
