| I went ahead and installed the module this evening. Took about thirty minutes, I wasn't in a hurry. Great instructions. I kept it in the default mode, three strobe burst, no repeat. Classy looking, will be an attention getter. That's the purpose. Thanks again NR4L.

| Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. NR4L !!The packaging, shipping, instruction manual and the module itself are all topnotch, A1 quality. Below is a photo of the male and female plugs as connected to the right side of the 3rd brake light. I had a clear plastic wrap around it just to differentiate it from the factory wiring and also bundle the wires together after installation. ![]() Next photo shows how the wires of the Kleyman 3BFM (3rd Brakelight Flashing Module) was anchored next to the OEM wires. I used soft rubber (not supplied, one can scavenge around in the tool/parts box) around the wires before tightening (snug but not too tight) the clamp ties (yellow arrows). Soft rubber and small clamp tie (NR4L thought of every detail) was also wrapped around the wire leading to the resistor to prevent chaffing (red arrow) where it contacts the metal edge. ![]() Next 2 photos shows the control module as it is attached via velcro to the black plastic panel of the trunk lid. I chose this position for ease of access should I want to change the mode, although the 3 bursts followed by a constant is my preference (as preprogrammed by NR4L). In the last photo, the fuse holder and wire are covered by soft rubber (I'll probably fashion a small black rectangular box later or one may choose to tuck the fuse into the black plastic panel and mount the control module in the recess.) ![]() ![]() Thanks again NR4L!!

| Here's a link to about a 5 second video clip. Please disregard the sound, when I said "YAH". It was a voice prompt for my wife to press on the brakes. http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...gAnch=imgAnch1

![]() Here's a link to a straight-on rear video. It's shot in daylight and some shaking of the hands caused what looks like flashing intially at the lower red panel but is actually light reflected from it before the brake lights come on. Let me know if it's acceptable. Vid is about 11 seconds. http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...t=MOV00804.flv

| If you're talking about the time space between flashes, then YES, this can be shortened by turning the yellow + on the blue square in the control module clockwise. The instructions says it doesn't work on the bursts. I tried it this afternoon, by turning the + clockwise (with setting on burst, then constant) and it made the burst look like a flash.

| This one is 5 seconds and shot at a business park where the windows and doors have highly reflective tinting/coating. http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...t=MOV00822.flv

| Thanks for all your positive feedback. Glad the install went well for you! etyu, thanks a lot for the additional video clips of the module in action, and the pics of your install. Great job with the wiring. You are also correct with the timing adjustment on the burst mode. It does turn it into sort of flash mode, Reason why i didn't list the burst mode as adjustable by the +, is because in the flash mode, there is only timing between flashes (and is adjustable by the +). In burst mode there is time between bursts themselves, AND a time between burst sequences. Now from my testing, the bursts can be adjusted, as you said to look almost like flashes, but the time between burst sequences can not be adjusted as far as i saw. And that i thought was the deciding factor on listing it as adjustable or not. Hope this can keep a few people off you tail... |

| looks great. the video is good, always nice to actually things in action for yourself. i would consider one of these more for the attention element than the safety aspect haha. |

With one, you get the other (same-same). Safety first.
