| My SLK200 R171 (April 2007) is showing the oil level is half way between max and min on the dipstick. Can any one tell me how much oil is needed to be added to take it from min to max? (I can then add half this amount) Can someone give me the correct answer? A reference to a manual would be good i.e. some real evidence, I have already been told two figures which are greatly different |

| Why would you like to add more, as more is not always better... The middle mark is just enough and about right. I just had the motor oil changed in my car (8 quarts). The mechanic drained the oil from the bottom rather than vacuum it as its done on the SLK 200, thus getting all sediments out. Cheers, Charlie |
