| If you get a 280, I suggest getting the AMG sport package as well. I think that greatly improves the look. For probably less money than a new 280, you could always get a used certified SLK55 AMG. That might be dangerous for a 17 year old though. We actually have our SLK350 as our only car at home. I own a small "crossover" buy use that for my business only. At home, when we have to buy something big, like furniture, we just rent a car for the day or have it delivered. |

| Okay first question I have before you make a decision, are you buying used or brand new? If you're going brand new, why not get the new 350 with the newer engine? Get the AMG package and you're halfway to a 55 (new one has the 05-08 AMG wheels as well.) |

In Canada, I would say that at a minimum, the SLK300 Premium package to get the airscarf, heated seats, and steering wheel. I'm assuming it's cold everywhere in Canada. If I were 17 and spending my parents money, I would probably also order an iPod connector (media interface option), Entertainment package, Xenon headlights (for safety), and the sport package (the 16 wheels look too small IMO). | |

| My slk was my daily driver, and sides from 3-5 months a year, i wouldnt recommend that. If u go out, the two seats is a pain. It usually gets left home. Hauling around alot of gear? Another bad choice. i fit my woods and clubs in the back of the trunk, just take the woods out of bag and put them on top with an angle, they seem to fit fine for me, and there standard clubs. |
