This is a question maybe for Dan I guess but anyone who knows for fact can help me answer this. I've always been wondering if there is a difference in the 55 vs. 280/350 or any other motor's body. I mean not talking about the obvious body shape difference of the front/rear/side bumpers. I'm saying in terms of clips and bolting on the kit. Does a 55 body kit bolt onto my 280 if I removed my current bumper?
Some people are telling me no because the grille or nose is different in some way. I just wanted to know if it was similar to a w203 C55 vs C230/C350 situation where the AMG has taken the front end of a CLK and that is why it's bumper does not fit on a non-AMG C-class.
Just wondered because I love the Carlsson SLk 55 body kit and I wonder if I must have a SLK 55 in order to sport this kit on my car. THANKS EVERYONE!!
