| I took a quick run over to my dealer's on my lunch hour and got the o.k. for replacement of my right headlight unit and right rearview mirror blinker lens. I hope that this will be the end of my lighting problems for awhile! Dinoman |

I do not recall what was wrong with the right rearview mirror, clear blinker lens -- it may be moisture on the inside part of the clear lens. This happened to me too and I had it replaced on the 2nd day after delivery.

| My right mirror turn signal lens has a crack on the inside, along the lower edge of the lens. It's not really noticeable, unless you look closely, but the service manager saw it immediately, and did not question it at all. I looked at my SL's mirrors over the weekend (identical units) and now I'm wondering whether or not the left lens might also be cracked. Dan, I'm so sorry about your transmission/engine problems, but I admire your can-do attitude, and am confident that when you have finished, your car will be a world-beater. Dinoman |
