|  ipod integration in facelift model Hi First post here - hoping someone can help. Picking up my new SLK on Wednesday. Spoke to a couple of Mercedes garages before I ordered it and they claimed they could integrate an ipod into it even though it didn't have the Command stereo. They are now backtracking on this and saying it might not be possible. I really need the ipod integration and wondering if anyone can confirm that it can be done without command. Or if it can't - what are my options to be able to get ipod integration?? Many thanks Martin |

| Chris - I have a friend who has confirmed that the Denison GW500 will work in a facelifted R171 with A20 headunit. I've not heard for him since he ordered it, but I'll see if I can get him over here to respond... |

| Hi Thanks - I guess I'm really trying to find out if there are any official Mercedes ways to get it done. Can you retro fit Comand through a Mercedes dealer? What about this Universal Media Interface thing? Thanks Martin |
