Just got my SLK!

So I just picked up my new (to me) 2005 SLK 350. It's one of the Launch Editions in Pewter with all the normal options for that package along with Airscarf which was the deal sealer for me. As it has 55,000 miles and is out of warranty, I did purchase an extended one to cover the car until it hits 91k. Hope to be enjoying the wind in my hair real soon!

Congrats and read, read, read! you will have many questions and be asking about mods like smarttop and clear front markers and green filters. The members here are the most knowledgeable and friendly and Dansslk (ask dan) is the best at the technical stuff.

I like the Launch Edition very much. I had an opportunity to buy one two months before my ordered car was due to arrive. I passed on it because it didn't have the bi-xenon head lights. Enjoy your car. PS. Each launch edition car had a premium of $1,000 added to it's price which was donated to breast cancer by M/B.
