New SLK owner checking in

Hello All,

I've asked lots of questions over the last few months here on SLKWORLD, and I now have finally acquired my SLK:

Capri Blue/Black interior (you might remember that I've been searching for a Capri Blue SLK)

(new updated full list of options!)

Automatic (the only concession I made, I really wanted a manual)
21k miles
Bi Xenon Headlights
Homelink
Heated Seats
Power Telescopic Steering
Navigation System
CD Player
Power Seat Package

Premium Stereo - Harmon Kardon
CD Changer (6 Disk)
Sport Package
Rain Sensor Windshield
Air Scarf
Factory warranty until 1/2009

I got it at auction for $31,800. Maybe a little high, but except for the tranny, it's exactly what I'm looking for.

I'll post more photos when I take delivery next week sometime.

I'm also glad to see that SLKWORLD didn't disappear into the ether yesterday, and now that I'm an owner and will be here much more often, made my contribution to the site.

Glad you got what you wanted!!! That is what it is all about. I only wanted a copper color SLK and I waited a year before I found mine. Sometimes waiting pays off.

Congratulations on the new ride. As said before, waiting for exactly what you want means a lot. It's good you didn't 'settle' for anything less that what you desired (except for the tranny...but that's a whole different thread)

: Yea that's why i'm taking my time with purchasing my one. I'm still tossed up between a '07 350 or a facelifted 200 with sports pack though haha. Each has its pro's and con's.

Where can I find a list of all possible options that were available for the 2005 350?

Also, is there any procedure available to remove the 6-CD changer in the glove box? Is there any downside? I'll put in an iPod adapter instead. I haven't used the 6cd changer in my BMW for at least two years.
