Neither have I. There was a great commercial (my opinion) several years ago called "Clouds". If it's still available, the newer members should see it.

The poor guy must have swallowed a lot of dust during the shoot.

As impressive as the production values are, I must say I've always found this one a little too long and pretentious.

"Clouds" came out in 2004, before the first R-171's were available in the US. Those of us that had placed early orders for SLKs had very little information about the car. We didn't even have a price when we placed our orders. This video was one of the few things that we could cling to as we waited for Mercedes Benz to release some information. I watched it several times each day. Maybe overdone but it still has fond memories for a few of us.

I often think of the "Clouds" commercial when out driving with the top down and clouds forming. "Okay, should I put the top down now, or can I wait another 30 seconds before the deluge starts?"

The weather here in Kaiserslautern today was a perfect example of the "Clouds" video. Top down, sunglasses on, sunglasses off... Wonderful weather, hopefully the rain will hold off until I can get my steaks off the "barbie", then it can rain. Car is now in the garage and then new flowers need a good watering... Hope everyone had a great weekend!
