Default New front spoiler

Installed a new front spoiler from Piecha. Very happy with the look. I was going to wait to post until after wheels and lowering, but that'll take a while, so here's a couple of shots anyway.

Interesting. I saw you post on another forum earlier. Four questions:
1. Is the spoiler section an add-on to the existing stock lower front bumper cover?
2. Does it come painted?
3. How does it attach?
4. What's the cost to include shipping?

I'm undecided on this item. I don't really like the non AMG lower front bumper cover, which I have. This is an alternative to the two offered by MB. Thanks!

The car looks great, even without being lowered.

Thanks for kudos. I like the look too.

1. Yes, it is just added to the existing front bumper. NO modifications to the bumper at all.

2. NO, it does not come painted. I had it painted and installed by a local body shop. They charged me $ 350.00. It did need some sanding, adjustments, etc. If you're worried about color match, I wouldn't. The color is an exact match.

3. It attaches around the sides with two-sided tape that comes already on the spoiler. The front lip is glued. The glue came with the spoiler.

4. I think I paid around $ 600.00- $ 700.00 delivered to my door in Pennsylvania, USA. It came from Germany, so I think shipping added a bit to the bottom line (I think the spoiler was in the neighborhood of $ 500.00 plus shipping). But I was very happy with Piecha. Good communication, it shipped when they said it would and it came in one piece. As far as fit goes, it fit pretty well, but not perfect. My body shop said they had to do quited a bit of sanding to get it to fit like you see in the pics.

I don't think there is any comparison to the little ears MB sells that can be added to the front of the car. They look stuck on IMO, whereas this spoiler really blends in and adds a much needed aggressiveness to those of us with standard non-AMG bodies (if aggressiveness is what you're looking for... like I was).

Like I said, I was happy with them. I got their aluminum door pins while I was at it and they look good too. Hey, N4PWJ, I see you're from Belfast, N. Ireland. Greetings. My wife is North Irish as well. She is from a little town right outside of Belfast called Dundrod. Her mom still lives there. Her sisters live in Meghaberry and Antrim. Been there about five times and have visited your great city a couple of times. I have really enjoyed my time there. The countryside is beautiful. Do you ever get the chance to drop the top? My wife constantly mentions the dull, rainy days there.

For the guy looking for pics of the chrome wings. Couldn't post them in that thread, so I'll throw it up to the top for him.

Definitely less noticeable on the silver. Personally, it looks fine, but I don't see the need. Looking forward to pics when you finish with the wheels & lowering.

Not sure when I'll get back, but if it's in the near future, I'll definitely PM you. Usually my wife goes back to visit her family every year or two. I haven't gone in the last few years. I get to stay home with the kids while she gets to enjoy the beautiful weather .
