| Will a 9/16 impact socket take the bolts out on front calipers of a 2007 SLK 350? I tried a regular socket and it split it. |

| First off why are you removing the calipers?

| It's easier that way yes i was just curious. Don't use any sort of impact setup on it, that won't do it any favor's i'm afraid.

| I wasn't going to use a impact wrench just the socket on a breaker bar unless there is a special socket.Do you know if there is a special tool or socket? |

| I see no reason to remove the calipers. I don't know if the brakes on a 350 are similar to those on my 55, but it really is quite easy. You might find my post helpful: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r171...ange-55-a.html |

| Nice drawing. I think you must have more patience than i do, much prefer to remove the thing and get it in the right orientation.
