| Hi.. In preparation to my 09 slk55 order, I am looking at some modes. I stopped by Brabus not to fr from where I live. Very nice place. So they have clool stuff like the roll bars, lights, shift knob. etc... They also offer b55 performance . mainly cam shafts. which give it about 30Hp more. So my ? . If it just changing the cam shaft , I dont understand why MB did not provide that on the car from the begiining. or at lest have that as n option. In terms of the warrantee, I am satisfied with their program. the price is ok. Would 30 HP be noticable? Thanks. |

MB don't do stuff like this because it pushes emission's regulations.

| And cast, so bending them would be easier than forged wheels. Most racing wheels today are forged btw. 30hp would be noticable, all car manufacturers try to cut cost as much as possible, retain reliability and emissions, so you'll have a good product, but not as great product. Aftermarket companies pick on these flaws and try to squeeze every little hp they can out of it. |

| 30hp difference is a gain you can feel considering SLK's weight, if it was say a Naturally aspirated SUV or a Heavy S/C or Turbo SUV you wont feel it as much.

| As for wheels, companies like 360 Forged, HRE, and Kleemann have light wheels. If you want to spend $10k on wheels, there's always Dymag. Evosport used em in this project - http://www.evosport.com/projects/mercedes/clk63black/ |
