Default I just went for a drive

Hello all,
I just purchased a 05 SLK 350 24k miles
I'm very impressed with the performance.
What do these run in a quarter?
I'm open for meets in the Las Vegas area.

Welcome to the forum SLK ROLLOUT, by the way I am liking the username very unique in some sort.

The 350 is a great car and your mileage isn't high for a 2005, I hope you enjoy it in the best of health and most importantly bad weather as rain stops us from the total enjoyment which is with the top down.

Welcome from Ny SLK Rollout..I can see you are already talking Modding....a lot of fun...and addicting. many different sites and resources out there...all depends on what you are looking to do....I would suggest starting with a remote roof module, green filters and of course wheels

hi and congrats to your new toy,

a good rim/tire combination is:

front: rims 8,5'' x 19'' with 225/35/19 tyres
rear: rims 9,5'' x 19'' with 255/30/19 tyres

this combination fit perfect without any modifications at the fenders/wheel arches.

stick on and drive...

using a coilover sport kit (shocks and springs) is with this combination no problem.
i have a 350, too and drive this rim/tyre combination with the coilover sport kit number 3 from KW, lowering front and back about 5 cm...

ciao

pat

The wides setup is 8.5 x 10 rears, but the 9.5 rears are better and are less likely to rub against the inner wheel fenders and many members have followed the route chromtec supplied.
