| Ladies and Gents, ever since I started working on cars with my first SLK230 Komp, I have seen many things. Everything from the cheapest to ugliest mods, to the most expensive and classy. I have seen and felt speeds of cars that were never designed to go as fast as they did. I have seen various body styles from the most outrageous to the simple yet classy… But a day ago I was in the presence of a true LEGEND! An SLK of unparalleled style, speed, class, charisma, and jaw-dropping performance modifications to match the personality driving this vehicle. I kid you not, this SLK is not for the faint hearted, and it is strongly advised to attend a restroom before embarking on a ride in this beast. The owner of the vehicle is unknown to the SLK community and actually reached out to me through a friend he has on the forum, but he will be joining us soon. He is local to the NY/NJ area and has an amazing personality and knowledge to share with all of you. I promised I would not give much more away. But after drooling over this vehicle in person for 2+ hours and then having the honor to ride in the passenger seat, all I can tell you is this: It’s Black, It’s Mean, It sounds unlike anything we have ever heard before, It takes no prisoners and will stand up to anything willing to challenge it. In conclusion, it is what dreams are made of… including my own. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Once "He" is ready... "He" will make himself known.... |

| Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum. Noregret4life, (Lenny), sent out a post about my car. I hope my car will meet everyone's expectations. I am attaching some photos today of the Carlsson 1/16 ultra brite rims, Carlsson pedal kit, Carlsson front and real spoiler, Carlsson side skirts and wind deflection sheild. My car (an slk55 amg R171) has a Renntech supercharger, carbon fiber airbox, and reflashed ecu. Kleemann products include a limited slip differential with a 60% lock up ratio between the two drive wheels, and super sport camshafts. Best of all, I've put in a full blown Supersprint exhaust system. The headers are jet-coated, which is more efficient than ceramic coated headers. (No resonator- great sound!) Custom CF steering wheel from Performance. CF on doors, console. Even had floor mats custom made with Renntech logo. Many thanks to Noreget4life for the very warm introduction. Can't thank him enough for his time and help. Coming next: Power converter, High Performance wires and plugs and getting my first dyno done. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Congrats. The car does look great. I noticed a different suspension too. KW coilovers? What are your thoughts? Like to hear a bit about your experience with the car so far.

| Welcome to the forum , I love your SLK and its really been tastefully done and very subtle. If money wasn't an Issue for me I would have done the exact same thing minus the Renntech S/C, Carlsson rear wing, the chrome on the grill, side skirts and rear diffuser. Funny enough there are some certain modifications that we both have and mine is also a black on black/red SLK. Then again great minds thing alike and I can totally see where you were going with the SLK, such a great setup for the street. Enjoy the car and drive safe, Lenny is right about it as its a monster of an SLK.

| I know I speak for a lot of SLK enthusiasts here: We are truly honoured to welcome you to this forum! Your car is absolutely unbelievable. Congratulations! Everything on that machine is stunning. I also think the pedal-like left-foot rest is a nice touch. It should come standard on every SLK. Just a little question: Was your engine signed like other 55's? Keep the piccies coming! ![]() ![]() |
