|  Lifetime of 200K engine? Hey again. I wanted to ask the people who own an R171 SLK 200K about the lifetime of the engine and which are the most common problems that appear first? Since it is a 4-cylinder engine i imagine that on 70-80,000km typical problems occur? Thanx. |

| As long as you maintain the car properly and take it to the services from time to time, it will stay for a very very long time. My uncle has a 60's 280SL pagoda and it is till running like a new car.
