| What has been your record speed with your SLK so far. I went just over 160km/h (100mph) a few times but I couldn't find a road where I could go faster than that. |

| Just under 150mph and then turning into a corner with out braking. TWS is a cool track.

| 120mph on the autobahn whilst on European Delivery, I would have taken it further but the SLK was brand spankin new and didnt' want to push it any more than I did. I haven't driven it over 100mph here in the states, I don't take the highway much. |

| Just on 160mph indicated, prevented by limiter. Easty will know the road, the M58. Great road. Also got indicated 185mph on my friends Hayabusa before I bottled it on the same stretch. |

| Am I the only one with a 200 here? Anyhow I managed to do 230 km/h, about 144 mph. Yes I was alone on the highway when trying this. Bengt |

Great location to drive 159mph. How was it? How long did you sustain the 159mph speed?

| I managed almost 160 (about 159 i worked out from the KPH display) and lost my bottle now that i live in fear of the old bill and the ticket machines. Had the limiter removed with the das but not had a chance to go somewhere to try and reach a max speed looks like UKSLK55 is the current high

| I had a Mustang want to race me today...I know he would have smoked my little 4 banger but I didn't let on. (most guys don't know a SLK230 is a 4 banger) I just told him, "Thanks but no thanks, I have nothing to prove." He gunned it and took off Smoking FAST! My wife and I just smiled as we pulled up to him at the next red light. LOL |

| gotta love that! personally all i think is... well gas is expensive for my car... his runs on regular... and there goes a gallon... woops theres another. Then you meet them at the next red light and you are 2 gallons up from the ponys that just took off to show off. i havn't pushed the 350 past 110mph yet... however the 230komp hit 141 in the good old days. |
