Default need help (cabin filter)

I am at a loss to replace the cabin filter.
I have located and removed the 3 torx screws under the glove compartment.
I cannot go further trying to pull, push, or slide the cover. The right side is loose but the left side is "locked" if I may say so.
I need the knowledge and expertise of Forum members who have already performed this replacement.

Thanks in advance for your assistance

The car is a 2007 model year.

Pull out the torx screws and then grab the left side where it integrates with the center console and pull toward you its held on by a clip once thats out you can just remove the cover.

You will then have access to the bottom of the airbox just unclip it and replace the filter, make sure you properly re-install the filter and its holder otherwise you will have an airleak.

Same sort of thing applies to the under dash panel it has a hook that sits on a ring attached to the airbox make sure you align it correctly so they fit together otherwise the air from the airbox will not enter the flow guide on the panel correctly and will just heat up the equipment box.

After installing the new filter in the housing, run the blower at top speed using all the position settings. If any air is coming out of the filter housing, the filter is not seated correctly. It took me 10 minutes or so to get it sealed correctly.

Its best to use the windscreen defogger mode first then test on full blower speed afterward.

The air intake is different for both modes
