| This weekend I just clicked over 40000 miles. Took me 27 fun filled months. Along the way I have had only minor issues. (Knock on wood). In no particular order: 1.Center console glove box would not unlock (replaced bottom part of console). 2. Trunk rattle (adjusted myself after Mercedes Benz could not fix). 3. Hood and fenders repaired/repainted and windshield replaced after rock shower ($2000 by insurance). 4. 1 dead battery (at 2 year mark, replaced warranty) 5. oil change approx every 3k. 6. check engine light twice (gas cap, temp sensor) 7. tach revs and car no go (adaptive learning reset) 8. small ding put in by myself (paintless dent removal $125) 9.new tires (originals went at 19000, just put 2 new on rear at 39000) 10. charcoal cannister shut off valve (replaced cannister) 11. side mirror cracked (replaced under warranty)

| i have 20,002 miles on my slk350 right now! with ALL them being me! woot. Yes it is my everyday, but i am frugal with it in the winter. I also personally have about 300 miles on my fathers old 170 when the car first came out. (I wasnt driving age! ) |

| As of current 43447. Tomorrow it will be more as I have to go to work. I think it had just a tick under 38795k when I got it. Hmm problems so far. 1. I think the original owner had to have one of the mirrors replaced, repaired under warranty 2. MAFs took a poo when I punched it and jumped in front of a dump truck...yay for excitement in your day, repaired under warranty and got a free c230sport loaner 3. rattle under steering column, repaired under warranty and got a free c230sport loaner 4. unlock button on key was cracking, replaced under warranty and got a free c230sport loaner and got to keep the old key 5. Still have a rattle but haven't spent the time to find it, dealer said it was normal but I am not sure it was making it when they drove it (maybe they couldn't hear it over the exhaust at full throttle...nah surely they would treat my car with respect) 6. Adjust passenger side window..had a wider gap between it and the 1/4 glass and made wind noise. So see, mostly petty things. I drive my car everyday/everywhere as it is my only means of transportation and I love it. Exactly what I wanted, sporty, eye catching, 2 seater, non-crappy softtop but still vert, and livable for the daily grind. Plus that noise it makes is nice and it gets 20mpg. |

| Classify me as a part time SLK driver. My used SLK 55 had 4811 miles when I purchased it this past March. It now has just over 6300, which is an average of 300 miles per month. I seldom drive it to work due to parking concerns. I do drive it locally on weekends when the weather is good. I never intended it to be a daily driver. I have other cars for normal daily use.

| I do think I would appreciate my SLK more if I didn't drive it everyday. I just seem to get used to it so it is not as special to me. A while back when I drove the C230 loaner for about two weeks it was wild getting back in my car. Wish I could afford to get a little used Acura TSX for a daily driver and only drive the SLK on special days and weekends. |
