Default How does your Bluetooth phone SOUND?

So I finally got a little chance to see how the phone sounded last night with my buddy in the car and me on a phone outside.

Inside, the sound is crystal clear. So the sound coming out of the phone to the puck and over the speakers works very well.

But listening on an outside phone to the person in the car, their speech sounds... hm.... kind of like a "warble". Sounds like it is phasing in and out. I would say it is the phone, by the reception side is good.

Is it the microphones? Something with the noise cancelation circuits? We just had the car sitting in the garage, so it shouldn't be that.

I was just thinking, and the signal strength was low in the garage. Maybe we should have backed the car out of the garage first. But I know my wife said it sounded odd when I used it early outside the garage.

I would say the sound is barely acceptable.

The MB systems i have used in various class cars are OK good enough for people to understand you OK without too much background noise but not crystal clear either its one of the few time i prefer the M3 as the bluetooth system is great.

If it sounds out of phase check the Mic's are installed the correct way around and they are the correct type to be used for the phone a tele-aid Mic will fit but not sound very good.

It might be worth going to the dealer as they have not been installed long have they

Hope this helps

Dan
