Hi there

Open the top half way up - or down....
Then you have good access to the window
NB Motor must be running, or ignition must be on.

I you let only ingnition, after few minutes, a beep will be heard... Be careful, as the pressure in the roof mechanism is not enough, the roof will autmatically move ...

On my side, i prefere to keep the engine running during this operation.

Great tip. The inside of the rear window is almost unreachable.

I don't think this trick works as well for the R171 as it did for the R170. Because the window folds differently in the R171, I don't do it that way. I just put my knees in the seat and twist and switch hands for the 2 sides.

(of course, because its such a pain in the rear, I've only done it once I keep the screen in place so you can't see the glass as well. That helps )

I do the same, i find i can twist myself into the right shape to fit in perfectly and give me access to 1/2 of the screen at a time

Tried working on it with the roof part open but its so flexible in that position i did not want to push too hard and find myself aligning it again.
