Default I've Dinked my Wheel

OK I have to admit I caught a kerb today on a roundabout the guy on the outside did not leave me enough room and I got pushed into the kerb on the roundabout or hit him.

The question is the scrape is perhaps 8 inches long around the circumference of the wheel. I can fill it as it is not deep but what colour are the wheels sprayed ? I should say the Aluminium is still OK it has ripped the powder coating off.

Any suggestions ?.

sorry to hear that. in the states we have wheel/rim repair places that based on the size of the curb damage they charge nominal fees.

Sorry to hear that pal.

If you speak to MB they will either do the job themselves or know somebody who will do it.

For quick touch-up's on BMW's we use the silver paint and lacquer and you really can't tell the original coat was damaged, MB use a slightly different shade and you cant make a perfect match on the alloys using colors they sell for body touch-up.

There are many specialist's that can fix this easily, do a search in google in your area/district who knows, you might find something.

I am going to enquire at MB tomorrow. The car deserves the best I think, so I will get the job done properly.
