Default Green filters + SLK350 =

Great gas mileage, I don't ever recall getting 27 plus mpg with the OEM air filters. I don't know how accurate the MB computers are but I know I visit the gas stations less often now. The drive home from work is 11 miles, mostly local roads with 35mph speed limit. Here are my results, it was actually 27.9, but when I went inside the house to get my camera, it dropped down to 27.3, still very impressive.

YNOT, average speed 29 mph, my tracter goes that fast. That would be a boring ride seems to me there should be a windy lightly traveled road somewhere nearby. Want me to find you one on Google EarthBut that is excellent gas mileage.....

Not surprised with green filters. It's either the OEM paper air filters are bad or the green air filters are just that good.

I can't wait to get mine. They better come next week. Fingers crossed.

But I do wonder, if there are if any mathematical costs. Such as whether if it damages something.

hahah, I'm sure it does, I take residential roads home, the highway is a mess here, I drive thru an affluent community so it's not too bad, get to see astons martins, ferraris, tons of mercedes on the drive home. Windy roads are only 15 minutes away from my house, no need for Google earth, I got it covered.

Greens are similiar to K&N's and I had them on several cars for over a decade w/o problems, as long as you clean it out yearly, you should be find, I don't see a problem.

etyu: Greens are that good.
