Hi All,
I wanted to introduce my self.
I live in El Paso Tx and we have a 2005 SLK 350 with sport pkg.
I think our car is december 04 production.
Hope to read and write many post's here.

Welcome JRCNRING! If you have the chance, how about updating the profile to include location and car profile? It just makes it easier to see who's where and what model SLK they drive.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I'll tell you a bit more about our car, it is a SLK 350 with AMG sport pkg, Black Metallic and beige leather with wood dash and steering inserts other than the stock equipment we ordered it with run flats, airscarf, 7 speed automatic transmission and xenon lamps pkg.
My wife is actually the daily driver of this car and just recently I started driving it more over the weekends.
Our SLk has about 5000 miles on it as of to this day.
As you can see the car is used very ocasionally, I only drive it over the weekends.
El Paso is a nice city to have a car like this because most of the year you have sunny days. I'm thinking of adding a couple of upgrades to the car starting with the Ipod connection, which we had ordered the kit from Mercedes only to find out that our car was still not compatible because it was a first production SLK 350. Can any one recomend a good upgrade for the IPOD?
Mechanicaly speaking I'm going to read on to se what upgrades you guys have made to your cars.

Go for the MB ipod kit , I have it on my Feb 06 Build SLK55.
