| hello again slk world. i currently have the stock wheels that came with my 2005 slk 350 and the tires that are two different sizes. i wondered if anyone has any suggestions on new wheels and tires. also is possible to have the same size wheels and tires all around. can i put on larger wheels and tires without any modifications. any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks donnsand |

| provided your new wheels have the right offset (i'm sorry i cannot tell you exactly what that it), you can go all the way up to a 235/235 19 up front and a 265/30 19 out back. Safe, easy and cheaper, a 225/40 18 and 255/35 18 will work well. |

| I just ordered a set of ZE Forged wheels with a set of Falken FK452s. I went with the safe, easy and cheaper route of 225/40/18 on 18" x 8"s in the front and 255/35/18 on 18 x 9"s in the back. I am not planning on lowering the car so I decided on the 18"s. |

| Go for the Brabus Monoblock V1's either in 18" or 19" for a Classy Wheel that is not too flashy and yet maintaines the sportyness you might be looking for.

| You can go as big as 20"s or stay with 17"s, 19"s are the perfect size for our SLK's, 265/30/19 rears and 235/35/19 fronts will fit w/o rubbing giving the correct offset as mentions above. You can stay with the same size all around if you like, but the staggered looks much better also will give more grip with wider tires in the rear. Do a search for 19" wheels for pics and options.
