Default Headlight Switching

This is a question probably just for right hand drive owners.

I am likely to be taking my 350 across to France soon and thought I would ask the sales rep at the dealers what converters are needed, or indeed whether any are needed, for my Bi-Xenon headlights to avoid dazzling the continentals who all drive on the right and would be blinded by my lights dipping to the left.

His reply was to take the car into the dealers for them to fiddle around somewhere under the bonnet to make the switch a day or two before I travel.

Surely this is something owners should be able to do. I have scoured the handbook but can find no mention.

Do any UK owners know where this magic switch is?

Thanks

Don't think I mess with the factory settings. Let them squint for the short time you'll be there.

Well I've just spent 30 minutes trying to find these switches with no luck.

Mind you it's not easy to see much as everything is crammed in there. I had a good feel around but found nothing like a switch. Looks like I will be taking it to have the dealers do it.

Thanks Dan. Looks like I wil have to ensure I drive only in daylight in France or make sure I get back home before it gets dark if I have them switched.

Bloody inconvenient
