|  Neutral and SL vs. SLK I noticed today that I can only operate my SL hard top when the car is in n Neutral. However, my SLK allows me to operate the hard top even when the car is in Drive. |

| I thought factory ones allow it up to 5mph, that means if you have the 7g-tronic transmission, let go of the brakes in Drive and it'll still let you operate it? I could be wrong, DanSLK will probably chime in.

| i would honestly love the smarttop module, but i am just FAR to scared to start taking my merc apart and incase i get a dud one and my roof messes up. i can survive with the stock one just so as i have peace of mind. |
