Default I'm in love

Hi all

Just picked up my 350 in Caspian blue with grey leather&wood.
I never imagined a single object could bring so much joy. I'll post pics as soon as we get some decent light but in the meantime, here's the spec list:

7g auto, Command DVD, nav, lighting, Airscarf, Heated/elec drivers&pass. seats, Xenon lights, 5 spoke AMG wheels. I've had the paintwork protected (A Glaze) and am having the windows tinted tomorrow (don't worry-not too dark!)

What I love about this car is that it has two completely distinct personalities. About town it's smooth and quiet, but hit an open road, open her up and the beast comes out! I continue to be surprised by how fast it is.

WOW!!!

Hi and welcome! Beautiful color combination and great list of options. We're eagerly awaiting some pictures. ENJOY! Got to ask, what's the meaning behind your user name.

I'll try to get some pics up this w/end.

User name is the name of my favourite book, "The Blind Watchmaker" by Richard Dawkins.

Default Doh!

Forgot to mention, phone pre wiring and bluetooth module too.

I had to change my phone to one that uses SAP but Im so glad I did. I think the bt phone system is one of the best features. Works totally seamlessly.

Welcome to the SLKworld forum mate, First I would like to congradulate you on the new purchase, The SLK in general is the most easy to use Daily Drive Roadster, with its metal folding roof and 7Speed auto very comfortable and fun to drive.

Caspian blue is a very elegant colour and the offwhitish grey interior definitely sets a unique contrast.

Enjoy it in good health, Are you thinking of some upgrades Such as Cosmetics/Performance for the near future?

Yes. I def. want to go for a roof module (prob the SmartTop).
Only problem is I dont feel confident about attempting the install so I'll have to find someone to do it for me!

Yes I loved that too. Driving the SLK is as close to a religious experience as I'm ever likely to get!

Hello & welcome, good to see another 'non-silver' merc

I don't know if you have checked out the SLK Store on this forum - about the cheapest place for the roof module, especially with the exchange rate as it is at the moment, and they arrive within about 5 days.
