|  2nd hand SLK in the UK Based in the UK. I have a budget of around £32K and am looking for a 18-24 momth (<15K miles) 350 - min spec metallicleather airscarf Any tips, do , or dont's greatly appreciated. Will purchase at end of Jan |

| Some early production SLK350 had oil consumption issues. Check the engine no. Engine numbers up to 272 9xx 30 058705 have the potential. Written assurance from seller regarding this matter might help. Perhaps an extended warranty.

You should easily get a low mileage 350 on a budget of 32K, in fact you would probably get an 05 model. Have a look on Autotrader website, log on to narrow your search and there should be plenty, a few less if you are looking for a manual. They start around 27K and some of those are from dealers, and you will still have a year left of warranty on a 54 car like mine. Missed my S2000 at first but love the SLK.  | |
