Hello all. Had my 26000 mile B service this morning. Car is 18 months old and bought May 05. First thing I did before arriving was disable my vario roof module and the kleyman 3rd brake light strobe. This service by my mb dealer includes some things not covered in the service manual like air filter inspection and maintenance. Had them deduct the fee for tire rotation as tires are different sizes. Besides lof (lube, oil and filter) they replaced wiper blades, and checked the air filter. the air filter per service manual is not done until 60000 miles! I had already replaced the oem air filters at 19000 so i just had them inspect them. Total price :

$299
-$18 for tire rotation
-10% for being a nice guy
-$55 - had a lof coupon.

you do the math. i would have to take my shoes off.

Tech reset my fss to service 'a' at 13000 but i get the lof every 3 or 4 k.
Total time for amount of money: 30 mins
Mods not detected by tech with computer

I got a letter stating it is about time for my 26000 service.

Do I need to disconnect my Vario Roof for this?

i would and did. as you know, just turn key to position 1 and press 'end call' button until flashers flash once to show unit is disabled.

Once disabled, How do I enable it again?

key in position 1 and hit 'end call' and it will flash twice to show you it is enabled. test it before you go.

i have piecha version. hope it is the same method
