Heated rear screen not working, any ideas?

My heated rear screen turns itself back off (ie the light on the switch goes off and screen stops working) about a second after i turn it on?

Any ideas?

How long do you wait until after engine start before powering stuff up do you run the heated seats and airscarf or use the front screen defrost at the same time?

Could be an undervoltage in the system the screen is a low priority and is shut off but it should automatically fire up again once there is enough charge.

Do you hear the relay click when you press the switch?

HA...I'm an idiot! I was trying to envision the windscreen between the roll bars as being heated?!?!

I forgot you UK guys call the windshield the windscreen. Hence, the "rear screen" is the rear defrost for us defectors...
