Thumbs up NoRegret4Life's KLEYMAN Flashing 3rd Brake Light Module

WOW!

This has to be the Best and Easiest Modification I have done to my car!

I installed this on the 3rd Brake Light on my truck lid.
It took me about 15 minutes total.

There are different settings as follows...

3 Flashes, with repeat
3 Flashes, no repeat
3 Strobe Burst, with repeat
3 Strobe Burst, no repeat
Constant Blinking
Service mode - Constant on during braking

I have mine set so the 3rd brake light will 3 Strobe Burst, no repeat. So, 3 strobe bursts and then the 3rd brake light stays on until I let off the brake.

The two side tail lights operate as normal when using the brake.

I am so proud to be the first R170 to have this!

What a SAFTEY Feature!

Thank You NoRegret4Life!!!!!

Have you noticed that the cars behind you tend to stay further away from you when you're slowing down or stopped? Maybe it's just my perception, but I notice they don't come close to my rear anymore after the Kleyman 3BFM v1.5 was installed.

I, too, have mine set at 3 bursts and no repeat (becomes constant as long as the brake pedals are engaged).

I took video of it this morning but not sure how to upload it.

I plan on taking a better video of it tonite in the dark.

I guess I need a site where I can store Videos?

Maybe someone here can share that info with me.

You can upload videos to photobucket.com e.g., http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...t=MOV00822.flv

Just choose Video on the dialog box that states "choose an image (or a video)".

I tried taking video of it last night but my camera just showed a red blurrrrr.

I will have to work on my camera settings to get it right before I post it but trust me, it IS cool.....!!!!!!!

I have noticed less tailgating on the freeway in stop and go traffic and at stop lights I am getting more room between me and the car behind. That right there has made it worth it already!

I am very pleased with the results! Now I feel safe!

What a product!

Hey everyone. I'm really sorry for the delays. Just been really tied up lately.

I did not forget about any of you.
The 2nd order has not been filled yet, and everyone will be notified.

Once again, really sorry for the delays.

It's going to take a sharp eye to figure out the Kleyman1 is not standard on such a sophicated automobile. From a famous line, "come and get me coppa" .

Moreover, with the Kleyman 3BFM, you can program it so it will light as a constant, i.e., OEM function, when one goes for inspection. After the inspection, one can reprogram to the preferred seting. That's the beauty of this module, not to mention to have vehicles stay further away from your

New 'S' class has something similar for main brake lights - flashes during 'emergency' braking, so UK c&u regs must be fairly cool with it....
