Chats: 0 | My car (slk230) however, makes a sound almost eachtime I make a left or right turn. But the sound is coming from the steering wheel itself, its like a whinning noise...but it is not a high pitched noise, its low in sound do I need a power steering wheel flush, add power fluids? i am thinking if the power fluid would be low, wouldn;t it it show on my dashboard? thank you.... |

Chats: 0 | Yep, prob a little low on power steering fluid. I had the same issue just a few weeks ago. Just a very tiny bit low, but when I filled it up, it stopped. |

Chats: 0 | Here is my story. I went couple months ago to MB for inspection,as posted here prior, I was told that my lwoer control armbushings were worn...and I personally had no clue what that is,and what it does noisewise... so they told me, if you make a left or right turn you'll hear a sound,i was told...so I start hearing it and figured "go get this fixed" I paid 800 bucks...for my front lower control arm bushings to be fixed, both sides.Because I was told, thats what makes the sound, when turning.. Now I got the it fixed nd paid 800 bucks...the sound eachtime I turn was there like nothing was fixed...i got the car back on friday and had to wait tilll monday..I went there right away monday 7am sharp, not with a happy face and told them. Look, I brought my car to you guys to have the front lower arm bushing fixed, because you guys told me,thats what causes the noise/sound when I turn...and that was my goal,to get rid of that annoying sound...and its still there... I told them them " I want someone right now,to drive my car with me in it and tell me whats up " so after we drive, the guy says "yep, there is this noise, but its not the arm bushing, sounds like some pump or something,he goes" and we get out,the service guy apologize and he says "leave the car here and let us see what it is, and i'll give you a free rental" and I told them "I am not happy and very dissopointed about this, because I spent almost a grand here and my goal was to have this noise issue fixed and I was told the noise is the arm bushings...and now we find out its not" again..bunch a sorry and sorry and I left And they have not called me back, and its now tuesday morning...lets see if they'll call me today,in the afternoon... I also received a call from the business deperment to tell them how my experience went with my fridays service, and I almost had to laug and told the lady " not good " and told her what hppened and also told her that I believe in 2nd chances otherwise I would have made already the phone call to the MB headquarters and tommy friend who is the director of MB south Cal... again, she was like "oh thats no good,u need to talk and report that to our manager etc... Bottom line for me now is....I want whatever the problem is to be fixed, free of charge... we will see!!! |
