BAS ESP Caption

Hi Guys,

In the abscence of a manual can anyone shed any light as to a permanent "BAS ESP" caption illuminated at all times on my R170?

Mine was a bad wheel speed sensor. a pretty common occurencce.
a code reader helps find faults, but not ness all of them..
