|  # of 2000 SLK230 Designo Electric Green cars Greetings from a newbie in Lima,Ohio! I work at an auto dealership(25+years in sales) and we recently received one of the above on trade. My wife has wanted another convertible since we sold our PT Cruiser convertible last year. I drove this one home,1/2 in jest,1/2 in serious,thinking that she would not like the color,but lo and behold,she thinks its nice and different! After researching this year and model,it seems like a car to buy,but I have not seen any info on the number of SLK230'S made in this color or how many were sold inthe US.  perSLK has posted info on the Designo per.....does anybody have any info on the Electric Green? I realize that this is a love it or hate it color,but I have to admit it does turn heads and is growing on me!But then again,it may be for sale if it doesn't completely grow on me! LOL! | You stated MB does not keep track of numbers. That was incorrect. All he has to do is call her or email her about the Electric Green and she will tell him how many were made and shipped for what year.  SLKman |
