Hello all,

I'm a newbie, so apologies for another wheel size question but I don't want to buy the wheels and find they are useless.

I am in the market for a new set of wheels for 230K (R170). Currently running the stock 16'' wheels that are looking a bit tatty. I want to remain at 16''.

I am looking at these

Mercedes-Benz SLK (171) 16" alloy wheels (set of 4) on eBay, also, Mercedes-Benz, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Jul-08 11:59:17 BST)

Can anybody please answer the following:

1. Will they fit? Everything looks the same in terms of size except for the front offset which on the stock wheels is 37mm, on these it's 34mm

2. Will my current tyres fit? I am using standard size 205/55/16 on front and 225/50/16 on rear. I think the answer is yes but please can anybody confirm.

3. Will my current bolts be suitable?

4. Will my current centre caps be suitable?

3. Any views on whether they will look right / good on R170? It's difficult to imagine without seeing them on the car.
