|  New Member -John with questions Hi, looking to buy a used 230 slk but first a few questions. Price range will be circa $9000- $12500, the bank has had some large checks written on it lately and that's about all I can spend at this time. Should I hold up and wait till more funds become available ( probably around 2013 Ha Ha). Seriously, what type of mileage and year would I be looking at for that amount? What items should I really check out and are there any service protection plans out there worth the money? Thanks, john |

| Welcome to the forum, John. Your location [not listed] can obviously have some bearing on the availability/pricing of vehicles in your area. I second Mtiede's response regarding kbb.com. It is fairly accurate when researching specific vehicles with specific options.

| Hi and welcome I dont know how they are priced where you live but I would be looking at 320's if you can run to one, Unless you want to go down the whole pully road, then the 230 is the car for you, 320 is much harder to get more power out of 320's came out in 2000  |
